OVERVIEW
In 2007 Eurospeed received a proprietary World V.I.N. number. In 2007 the Company also obtained licenses and a proprietary V.I.N. number to manufacture in China.
In January 2008 Eurospeed signed an Exclusive Distribution agreement with two Chinese manufacturers of electric cars for the marketing and sale of these products in North America and selected European countries.
In May 2008 Eurospeed contracted with CornerStone United Inc. to provide comprehensive product warranties for Eurospeed transportation products sold in the United States. Under the terms of Eurospeed’s contract with CornerStone, Eurospeed will offer a 3 year limited warranty on all scooters and motorcycles and an 18 month warranty on all ATVs (all-terrain vehicles) and UTVs (utility vehicles) sold through its domestic dealer network. CornerStone United Inc. is one of the oldest service contract/warranty administrators in the U.S. and Canada and has been administering warranties and service contracts in the U.S. since 1973 and in Canada since 1984.
In 2009 Eurospeed will initiate operations at its China manufacturing facility. In 2009 the Company intends to assemble transportation products in dedicated facilities in Europe and the United States. The Company believes that having its own facility in China will enable the Company to better manage quality control and product availability at lower costs. The ability to assemble products in the United States and Europe will provide Eurospeed with a marketing advantage for sales of “made in the E.U.” and “made in the U.S.A.” products in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and North and South America.
